Twins Shin Protector - Gray
These Twins shin protectors are made in Thailand and of high quality artificial leather. The padding of the protectors consists of multiple layers so that the impact of blows is well absorbed and distributed.
Two sturdy velcro straps help to secure the shin guards to the legs and there are also two elastic bands. One goes behind the ankle and the other underneath the foot to secure the instep protector and make sure that it doensn't move around.
Also available in military, white, pink and black.
Size Chart
Please check the index below to help you select the right size. We recommend measuring from the top of your foot to just below the knee. It's best if the shin guard does not sit against your knee, so keep some space between the knee and where you measure.
Please note that this is a guide and may not be automatically applicable to everyone. If you have any doubts or questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're happy to help you out!
Size | Length Shin | Length Instep |
---|---|---|
XS | 29 cm | 15 cm |
S | 33 cm | 17 cm |
M | 36 cm | 19 cm |
L | 38 cm | 21 cm |
XL | 39 cm | 22 cm |
What should I look for while fitting?
- The shin protector should end just below the knee. A shin protector touching the knee is going to irritate.
- The elastic band under the foot should be tight in the beginning, this stretches the moment you start training and ensures that the instep protector does not slide.
- The excess part of the velcro closure at the back should be pointed outwards to the side, that way you will not be bothered by that part of the fastening during training. If it does point inward, you might accidentally loosen the velcro closure with your other leg.
