This Ronin Soft Touch Punching Bag is a completely renewed concept. A lot of people think that the current available punching bags are too hard and that is why this particular punching bag (filling) has been developed. The punching bag is still made of strong bisonyl material, but the inside has been completely transformed. Instead of the usual shredded fabric, this bag has a centre of granules. with a thick layer of foam padding around it. 
This foam layer ensures the best impact absorption and still feels soft against punches and kicks. Even for those who want to train without protection. 
The granules in the centre add some weight back into the bag, to make sure that it doesn't swing more than your regular punching bags. 
This Soft Touch Punching bag has a length of 180cm and a diameter of 35cm. Because of it's length the punching bag is extremely suitable for extensive training. Practice all of your combinations, from punches, jabs and hooks to the knees, high and low kicks. The punching bag in 180cm is the most universal bag that we offer. 

Filling

Because the Ronin Soft Touch punching bags are filled with granules, these might be a little heavier than most punching bags, on average 60 kgs. Around the hard and heavy centre is a thick layer of soft foam padding, about 5/6cm thick. This will absorb as much of the impact as possible and protects you from the hard centre. 
Keep in mind that this punching bag is still not suitable for permanent outdoor hanging. The moisture (from dew, rain and condensation) can cause the stitching to weaken. We recommend to always take your bag down and inside when you are done training.

Handling manual punching bag

To ensure a long life span of our punching bags, below we have listed a number of important things to keep in mind.

• Make sure the punching bag is regularly refilled and that the top is always well stocked. If the punching bag is not filled correctly the straps could tear due to excessive stress.
• Do not drag the punching bag over the floor, holding it by the D-rings. The rings are not suited for that and could come off.
• Don't pull-up the punching bag using the D-ring. The D-rings can tear.
• Hanging up and taking down the punching bag always has to be done by two people. The punching bag is too heavy for one person alone.
• Don't drop the punching bag when it is taken down. This is extremely bad for the zipper and the stitching.
• Never drop the punching bag from a stabding position to the floor. This also is extremely bad for the zipper and the stitching.
• By hanging up the punching bag, it's important to check that all four hooks of the chain are properly placed before releasing the bag. The punching bag is not balanced when the hooks are incorrect attached.
• Make sure that the open side of the hooks of the chain are pointing outwards.
• It is recommended to squeeze the hooks of the punching bag firmly with pliers to avoid the punching bag coming off during a more intense workout.
