Ronin Big Bag Punching Bag
This bag is a real Boss. It might be hard to tell from the picture, but this bad boy weighs more than 200kgs. With a length of 200cm and a diameter of +/- 55cm, is this bag in most things about twice as big as you might be used to with regular punching bags.
Because of it's weight, we do not recommend actually hanging the bag from the ceiling or the wall, as the weight is too heavy. It's best too hang the chains on the ceiling or wall, while the bottom of the bag rests on the floor.
The Big Bag can be personalised with your own designs and logo's. To demonstrate the possibilities we have chosen for our own logo on one side and the cowboy on the other. Keep in mind that the punching bag will be made to order and will require some production time.
Because of the weight of this bag, shipping is not possible.
Filling
The Ronin Classic punching bags are hand-filled with shredded fabric snippets. This makes the bag a little softer to the touch.
The fabric shreds are purchased new and are free of mold and unpleasant smells. This filling provides excellent absorption for your hands, feet and legs. When the top of the punchbag starts to look like a point, it's time to refill your bag. This can be done with tiny fabric shreds or snippets.
Keep in mind that the shreds are not suited for permanently hanging outdoors. The moisture (from dew, rain and condensation) can cause the stitching to weaken and the fabric inside of the bag to form mildew.

Handling manual for the punching bag
To ensure a long life span of our punching bags, below we have listed a number of important things to keep in mind.
- Make sure the punching bag is regularly refilled and that the top is always well stocked. If the punching bag is not filled correctly the straps could tear due to excessive stress.
- Do not drag the punching bag over the floor, holding it by the D-rings. The rings are not suited for that and could tear or come off.
- Don't pull up the punching bag using the D-ring. The D-rings can tear.
- Hanging up and taking down the punching bag always has to be done by at least two people, but because of the weight probably more. The punching bag is too heavy for one person alone.
- Don't let the bag drop when taking it down. This will put a lot of strain on the zipper and the stitching.
- Never drop the punching bag from a stabding position to the floor. This also is extremely bad for the zipper and the stitching.
- By hanging up the punching bag, it's important to check that all four S-hooks of the chain are properly placed before releasing the bag. The punching bag is not balanced when the S-hooks are incorrect attached.
- Make sure that the open side of the S-hooks of the chain are pointing outwards. If the open side of the S-hook is against the bag, it can tear a hole in the material
- We recommend squeezing the S-hooks of the chain of the punching bag firmly closed with pliers to avoid the punching bag coming off during a more intense workout.
