Muay Original Shin & Instep Dark Line
The Muay Original Shin & Instep protectors are made in Thailand. This means that the shins are made in the traditional model and with the high quality you are used to. The shins are made of thick high quality artificial leather and with a firm padding. To make sure that your protection doesn't budge during trainings, there are two wide straps with a little bit of elastic and the velcro closures on the backside and one wide elastic band underneath the instep.
The instep part is removeable and adjustable via a velcro closure. This will allow you to adjust the instep to your preferred length, but it also means that you can use the shin protector during trainings that require shoes, like Krav Maga for example, or when training outside.
These shin guards are also available in the Fixed Foot, Pro and the Premium edition and there are also matching gloves available!

What to look for while fitting
Please note the following when selecting your new shin guards!
- This shin protector has a loose foot which can be made shorter and longer to the required length with velcro. Once it is set to the correct length you can always keep it that way!
- The shin protector should fit just below the knee. A shin protector that hits the knee is going to irritate.
- The elastic band under the foot should be quite tight in the beginning as it will stretch the moment you start training and if it fits tight it will not slip.
- The velcro at the back should point outwards with the part that sticks out, if it sticks out this way it will not irritate you during your training. And there is less chance of kicking the velcro loose yourself.
