Muay Legacy Boxing Glove - wine red/black

This new edition to the Muay boxing gloves is the Legacy line. The fit is the same as that of the Muay Premium gloves, thus maintaining the standard high quality that all Muay gloves posses. The big difference lies, apart from its different appearance, in the fabric of the thumb area. This is made of high-quality suede, which allows you to easily wipe the sweat off your forehead during training.

The gloves are made in Thailand, in the traditional way, from top-quality cowhide leather, ensuring that the gloves last a long time. Muay gloves may feel a bit stiff at first, but after a few training sessions, the gloves will conform perfectly to your hands. The padding of these boxing gloves is handmade and consists of at least 3 layers of foam of varying firmness, providing maximum cushioning during strikes.

Please remember to take good care of the gloves. This means that you should take them out of the bag immediately after returning home from training and let them air out. Occasionally, apply a colorless leather conditioner to the leather exterior to keep it supple. The better you care for the gloves, the longer they will last!

The Legacy version has a slightly narrower fit than the Muay Original boxing gloves and thus has a comparable fit to the Muay Premium boxing gloves.

These Muay Premium boxing gloves are sparring gloves but can also be used on the punching bag. However, keep in mind that the padding will wear out more quickly and will eventually absorb impact less effectively. For bag training, we specifically have a bag glove, the Muay Punch Bag Glove.

Size advice for Muay Legacy Boxing Gloves 

Which glove fits my weight? Since this is a sparring glove, the sizes correspond to the weight of the person who will wear them. The heavier a person is, the more padding should be in a glove to absorb the impact of the punch. There are no hand sizes in sparring gloves; the weight of the glove is the 'size'.
