Muay Boxing Glove Contest 8oz Blue

These Muay Contest gloves are true match gloves. That's why these gloves don't have a velcro closure, but they have the more traditional lace-up closure. Usually, for a match the traditional size or weight is 10oz., but sometimes for a ladies match an 8oz. will be used. That's why we offer these as well! These gloves are also only available in the colours blue and red. 
The gloves are made of real leather and have a padding that consists of multiple layers, to better process the impact. Because these Contest gloves are only available in 8oz. the padding is a lot thinner than most people are used to when sparring. 
Contest gloves are often supplied by the organisor of the event, but they are also fun to have as a collector's item, or as a reminder when you have fought your own match!  
Keep in mind that these gloves are not suited for normal sparring situations during training and also not suited for use on the punching bag.
