Kobudo
The term Kobudo is a collective name for the more modern (1900’s and later) styles of the classically Japanese martial arts originating from the island Okinawa.
Kobudo is a martial art form that is practiced without the goal of competing, but it’s more like a weapons-training.
Some of the most used weapons include: the Bo, the Sai, the Nunchaku, the Kama, the Tonfa, the Hanbo, and the Katana.
These were all items that would be easily found on the country as tools for working the fields.
